Buğra graduated from Istanbul University Faculty of Law in 2011. He obtained his LL.M. degree from Istanbul Bilgi University Social Sciences Institute Business Law Master Programme with the dissertation titled “Tort Liability Arising from Breach of Competition Law”. He also holds PhD degree in Commercial Law from Istanbul University, where he wrote his PhD thesis entitled “Invalidity of General Board Resolutions in Joint Stock Companies”. For his PhD thesis, he did academic research for one year at the Max-Planck Institute for Comparative and International Private Law in Hamburg. Currently, he is research assistant at department of commercial law and registered lawyer in Istanbul Bar. He has key expertise in corporate and commercial law, competition law and capital markets law.
